Embark on a captivating 4-day trek from Sembalun National Park to Torean, a lesser-known route offering breathtaking vistas of Rinjani's summit, the tranquil blue lake, and soothing hot springs. This unique itinerary provides a refreshing escape into nature, reminiscent of the scenic wonders found in New Zealand. Explore hidden waterfalls and verdant landscapes as you immerse yourself in the pristine beauty of Rinjani.
Itinerary Details:
You are picked up from Lombok airport, Bangsal port, or other pick-up point and be transferred to the rural countryside village of Senaru. Meet your guide for safety and packing briefing.
If time permitted, our guide would take you to explore the stunning waterfalls in the afternoon. Dip yourself in the pristine upstream, the great way to warm up before the expedition.

- Breakfast in the hotel
- Leave for Sembalun Village (1,150m), 40 minutes by car
- E-register at Rinjani Information Center (RTC)
- Lunch at Pos 2 Tengengean (1,500m)
- Camp at Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639m)
- Dinner while enjoying sunset
- Preparation before climbing the summit
- Start the summit climb at 2.00am
- Enjoy the magnificent sunrise view at the summit
- Breakfast after the summit at Sembalun Crater Rim
- Lunch around the lake, where you’ll camp.
- Dinner around the lake while enjoying the sunset.
- Breakfast while enjoying the view of the lake and active smoky volcano in the morning
- Free and easy (e.g. fish or swim in the lake)
- Ascend to Torean Camp Site (Otak Gawah), walk along the river between two green and beautiful hills and you will find many beautiful waterfalls on the way
- Breakfast while enjoying morning view and waterfall from hot spring
- Descend to Torean Gate (5hr flat road)
- Arrival at Torean Gate (700 masl)
- 30 min to hotel in Senaru
